Chris Law has been working with the crocodile species for many years and has been striving to share his knowledge with those interested in these fascinating reptiles.  Join Chris as he talks in depth with us about the care, conservation, and the crocodiles portrayal in the mass media. This is really a special treat for us as we have never covered this species of reptile before and we got one heck of an education on the incredible crocodilian! If you would like more information on Chris and his work you can find him at Crocodopolis.net

In this interview we had the opportunity to sit down with a self proclaimed ‘dinosaur‘ and definitely an endangered species when it comes to our knowledge base within this industry which we seem to forget more of every year. I am of course referring to none other than Mr. Tom Crutchfield of Tom Crutchfield Reptiles.  Tom was very candid about what is missing in this industry today that people like himself built so many years ago. Take a walk with us as we start out at memory lane and then come forward to today where Tom sees issues that can be fixed. Do you have the answers?

Shawn Heflick of National Geographic Wild Python Hunters

A cop, a biologist, and a reptile breeder walk into a bar…it sounds like a recipe for some pretty interesting stuff doesn’t it? While it may have not happened that way, it definitely makes for some of the best damn reptile television that I have ever seen! I am of course speaking of Python Hunters on NatGeo Wild and Shawn Heflick specifically. The show is honest, funny, and serious in each and every episode. If you’ve ever been field herping then you will have a very special affinity to this show as the Python Hunterscrew pulls no punches when it comes to conservation and other topical issues which embroil the Florida Everglades. If you have not watched this show then you are truly missing out on great television that’s all there is to it.
